The velvet finish looks almost like low-shine metallic. High quality 5/8" dyed Agoya shell button is not quite 1/16" thick. Just enough of the natural shell's glow comes through to create a lovely sheen and iridescence.  Gorgeous light neutral color with iridescence in both warm and cool tones - pastel greens, grays and rainbow colors. Smooth, velvet matte, not shiny. (Clearly these are not plastic buttons!)  The back is natural dark brown shell with lots of variance.  For your best uses. Diameter: 15mm / 5/8".
