Opaque light green glass with a bronze-gold metallic wash in the creases. There is no white in these even if the photos look like it; the camera saw parts of the shiny gold as white. Both sides are the same. This is a bead, not a button. No two are exactly alike and they are charming! 3/8" in diameter, some a bit more rectangular than square, and about 1/8" thick with a small 1mm hole. Small and light.
