Whimsical hand-made, colorful, smooth, shiny bright glass bird beads.  They can face either way. The hole is about 1.5mm. No two will exactly match; they're made by hand.   They're about 1-1/8" or 28mm across, and from tummy to top of head about 3/4" /19mm.    Even better in person.
