Metal butterfly is handpainted in Susan's studio, with rich iridescent jewel tones and gold 'beads' on the edges of its wings. The back is shiny gold, not painted, with a shank back opening of 1.5mm. It's quite thin and light. There may be slight variance in the hand painting but they're basically consistent. Made in USA by Susan Clarke Originals.
