Mountain Cedar Vintage Kimono Chirimen Crepe Drapey Silk from Japan, By the Yard #813

Dustier than dusty rose, layer upon layer of soft trees behind the mist, on vintage chirimen crepe kimono silk. There are greens, grays, blues, plums, magentas, a rainbow of muted, blending, morphing and disappearing, blurry tones.  This is a beautiful print on liquid drape, supple, thin, flowy, soft silk.  It has no shine, a dry hand, and a pebbly texture. The back is more towards solid dusty plum; the trees don't show. 14" wide and sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one piece from the vintage, excellent condition, never used bolt. We think it may have been bokashi hand-blended over the print.  Subdued and stunning. 100% Silk. Japan.
