Natural wild raw silk handloom, from the silk of wild silk moths in India, whose silk makes fine, glowing tissue tussar. Handwoven, the warp is black, the weft brilliant violet/purple with lots of slubs and striations. This silk is quite thin, with sheerness than comes and goes and plenty of other rustic weaving features. The iridescence turns black and nearly neon magenta, with rich violet. Depending on the light the color is more blue or red. Dry clean or test first then handwash cool and air dry. It's delicate, one of a kind, very unusual and handwoven. India.
