Thin, light pure wool ikat with black Asanoha (Hemp Leaf) design. Bolder leaves dance through the lighter, finer ones. They are about 4" in size, all done in the ikat weave so both sides of the wool are just the same. Asanoha in Japan signifies strength and growth, since hemp grows quickly and is durable. This rich, bright red orange vintage wool is in excellent condition, has a classic wool hand and feel, a bit of body and is supple for wool. It's in excellent condition, 14" wide, sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used bolt. 100% Wool. Japan.
