Pinky Peach Cloud Green Whispers Flowy Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan by the Yard # 820

Fine, thin, drapey silk jacquard speckles in the weave, adds texture and glisten to this very light and flowy, cloudlike silk from Japan. A bit sheer, pale peach, with diagonal blurry streaks of green or white or both, every 5-8" through the bolt. This silk weighs almost nothing, loves to wrinkle, loves to flow and move with the slightest breeze. It's acquired wrinkles from being on its roll in storage, which ironed out for us.  The color is the same on both sides but the glisten from the jacquard speckles is stronger on the front.  14" wide, in excellent condition (but possibly with wrinkles) from the unused vintage bolt. A pretty good but not expert seamstress, I would find it difficult to work with. If you can tame it, perhaps you'll have an angel; this silk must be from heaven. It may be silk for lining of kimono.  Sold by the full yard, and we'll cut yours in one piece to the length you order. 100% Silk. Japan.
