Pacific Blue Butterfly Wings, Vintage Kimono Sheer Cotton Blend from Japan by the Yard #144

Textured and sheer, crisp and bouncy, this summer kimono fabric is woven in blues, periwinkle, a bit of purple and white. This vintage bolt is without labels, but we are guessing it's a blend of cotton, silk, hemp, possibly with a little rayon or wool. Featherweight (butterfly-wing weight...) Full of color and vibrance. Thin and light, not drapey, will probably soften and shrink if washed. Yarn-dyed, not a print, and both sides are almost the same, but the diamond-grid pattern, though subtle, is stronger on one side, flatter on the other.  Sold by the full yard - we'll cut yours in one piece from the excellent condition, never used vintage bolt. 14" wide.
