Okinawa Twilight Tapestry Vintage Chirimen Crepe Silk 14" x 67" #4695

This print is blues and blue-grays, with a design that feels like an antique tapestry. There are fantasy flowers in oranges and ochres, and what looks like crackled layers of other designs in the background. This high end chirimen silk is thin, light, with a grainy, pebbly crepe texture, a dry hand, body and not much drape.  It's in perfect condition from its former life as part of a kimono, decades ago.   100% Silk.  Japan.
