Blueberry Rain Pinstripe with Crosses Kimono Silk by the Yard #473465
Skinny, white stripes are around 1/4" apart and run lengthwise through the bolt, with lots of white "raindrops". There are also small shiny jacquard crosses on some of the rows that only show up as glisten. Somewhat shiny, lightweight silk with a bit of a taffeta-like hand; thin and very finely woven and a bit crisp. It rustles when moved, like taffeta, and was designed to be raincoat silk. It's a Tsumugi and the pinstripes are woven, not printed. The back is nearly identical. Unused, vintage kimono silk from Japan in great condition.
14" wide. Sold by the full yard, and yours will be cut in a continuous piece.
