Silk jacquard with an overall pattern of tiny, tightly arranged leaves that are so small it almost reads as a waffle weave that undulates from the drape and movement of the silk. Then, every 8" or so, a larger design of flower clusters. The purply mulberry color of the silk is so strong that the jacquard is beautifully subtle. The silk is drapey, supple and flowy and the color is truly stunning. On the back, the jacquard is smoother. This silk is in perfect condition from its former life as a kimono. Japan.
