Cranberry Rust Yarn Dyed Stripe Vintage Kimono Fabric By the Yard #773
Deep red, reds mixed with black, rusty red, brownish red, cranberry - and they blend together so well with the black, indigo, gray and gold. The colors are saturated and rich. Skinny stripes running with the selvedge through the length of the bolt. The fabric is thin, light, sleek, tightly woven, supple, shiny, the same on both sides, and seems like a silk blend but the tags are gone. It doesn't spring back when pressed with your hand and has a warmer feel than poly usually does; it reminds us of fine Bemberg rayon or silk for men's ties. The quality is high and it's quite beautiful. One yard of 15" wide only weighs 1.5 ounces. Our supplier in Japan said fabric like this is often for 'home-coat' in Japan. We'll cut yours from the vintage, pristine condition, never used bolt. Sold by the full yard. 15" wide. Japan.
