The black is true dark black, and the overall 'shibori' is off-white. Village scenes, homes and gardens, flowers, hills, clouds, streams and currents. This silk is a lightweight, smooth crepe with a fine weave, not pebbly-surfaced, not bumpy and textury. It's a faux shibori: a print to look like shibori. It's very drapey, flowy, lightweight and supple. This 100% silk is in perfect condition from its former life as a kimono. Japan.
