Kiwi Geometry Hexagon Print Silk from Japan, By the Yard #283
Gold-greens, avocado, and other greens, turquoise, black, and thousands of tiny white dots in different sizes. All the true colors visually create mirages of other colors - indigo, mustard, kiwi... Small rectangles and other shapes create other shapes including diamonds and hexagons - kikko in Japan: tortoise shells. Crosswise stripes of larger white dots closer together lighten those areas for even more fun. This silk is so soft and smooth that at first your fingers say "Oshima". But wait - it's a print. Thin and light, tightly woven, fine silk is a little crisp, quite stable, with some body. On the back, it's mostly white and the print barely shows. Sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one piece from the never used, excellent condition, vintage bolt. 14.5" Wide, 100% Silk. Japan. Prepare to be delighted!
