Blue Indigo Cotton Hand Block Print Diamonds #128 By the Yard

Two blues plus a blue-kissed white, in this rustic block print from India. Lightweight 100% cotton, lighter than quilting cotton but not quite as light as voile. (It weighs almost 3 ounces per yard; quilting cottons are about 4-6 ounces/yard.)  Very smooth and soft, it's perfect for warm weather apparel; tops, dresses, tunics, blouses, wraps, scarves, tables, windows, beds and accessories. The print was created by the traditional techniques of hand carved teak blocks, dipping each block for each color into its dye and hand stamping on to the fabric. There are printing imperfections - don't expect each square to actually be square :)  Limited supply artisan-created 100% cotton from India.

Some care for their cotton block prints by hand washing in cool water separately and drying in the shade. Others have had good success machine washing and drying, so test first and find what works for you and the particular fabric. Expect some dye transfer at first, especially with darker colors like these.
