Green Swirls Heavier Weight Vintage Japanese Wool/Silk/Poly By the Yard #146
Deep blue-green with black in the weave, plus a few different greens from white-infused to kelly, in this weave creating large swirls through the bolt. It's the weight of many obi fabrics and is ornate like many obi fabrics are. Labels indicate it was made in Nishijin which is an area in Japan known for obi fabrics. It's thin, but thick and strong, softened and a bit supple from the silk content, with slight shine from the synthetic, and doesn't hold a crease. The back is shinier, bright green, with the weave showing the swirls in different colors.
14" wide, 37% Wool, 35% Silk, 26% Poly, 2% Nylon. Sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one long piece from the never-used, vintage bolt. Japan.
