Black, white and gray, in this Japanese Tsumugi ikat with rustic hexagons, some with floral and geometric patterns inside. This pure raw silk is lightweight, thin, lusciously soft and subtly slubby, with a bit of body, and no drape or shine. Beautifully woven with a strong dark grray crossdye "sleet" effect. Hexagons are about 2-3" in size, and they overlap each other through the bolt. In Japan, hexagons and tortoise shells signify longevity and good fortune. This vintage kimono silk from Japan has never been used and has been carefully stored for decades, so it is in pristine condition. 

Width is 14.5".   Sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one piece from the bolt.
