Gray and Black Faux Shibori Vintage Kimono Silk 14" x 39" #4288

The black is true dark black, and the gray is light gray, not white. Village scenes, homes and gardens, flowers, hills, clouds, streams and currents. This silk is a smooth crepe with a fine weave, not pebbly-surfaced, not bumpy and textury. It's a faux shibori: a print to look like shibori. It's very drapey, flowy, lightweight and supple.  The back is mostly two grays; the black shows up as dark grey and the grey as lighter gray. This pure silk is in perfect condition from its former life as a kimono. Japan.
