Grains of Color + Black Japanese Kimono Silk By the Yard #GC721
This print from Japan is true black, plus white, blue, green, orange and red-orange. The geometrically spaced colorful sprouts visually create diagonal rows from a distance. The soft, supple silk is a bit heavier than most kimono silk, and we are told by the vendor that if machine washed cold and air dried, it shrinks quite a bit, softens beautifully, becomes drapey, does not fade or wrinkle. It's unused and in perfect condition. It does not seem old, handwoven or hand dyed; the dying and weaving is quite consistent and 'perfect'. Japan.
14" wide and sold by the full yard. How ever many yards you order, we'll custom cut it for you from the bolt, in one piece.
