Solid purple and black crossweave, with purple dominant and a few black slubs. Thin, but heavier than many kimono silks - a typical weight for vintage kimono wool. We think it's 100% Wool. The color is rich and consistent, it's very nice quality and a bit supple, soft for wool, and both sides are just the same. Up close you can see subtle texture from the black in the weave. Sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one piece from the vintage, never used, beautiful condition bolt. 14" wide. From Japan.
