Dreamsicle/Orange Sherbet Satin Jacquard Vintage Kimono Silk Piece from Japan 7" x 14" #4223

Liquid drape, beautiful sheen in the many jacquard weaves illuminating the geometric pattern. Flowers and Japanese symbols inside hexagons, with bokashi hand-dye technique, we assume, on the many blended tones. There are brights and pastels, and pastels that glow brightly. Creamy orange very close to orange sherbet, which blends to gold, almost green, and coral tones, in smooth gradations. Supple, flowy, soft silk with lots of drape and satin gleam. The back is much smoother. This silk was once part of a kimono. Excellent condition. 100% Silk. Japan.

These are small pieces, half the width of the photos which show the full 14" width. These smaller pieces have 2-1/2 hexagons across the 7" width, and 4 full hexagons down the 14" length.
