Deep Sea Blue Indigo/Black Slubby-Soft Cotton Woven, LAST 1-1/4 yard PIECE #CHL-124
Yarn-dyed, soft, smooth cross-weave 100% cotton from India, woven with black and dark blue cotton fibers creating an overall near-black blue look with dark, rustic streaks and lots of beautiful texture. Depending on the light, the blue can read as very deep indigo or very deep indigo/turquoise. The weight is a bit lighter than most quilting cottons, but heavier than voile. Has a bit of body before washing, and is very soft and slightly sheer. When washed, the shrinkage tightens up the weave a bit. Front and back are the same and there is some natural rustic variance in thread thickness, etc., per the photos. Beautiful for tops, lightweight bottoms, bedding... looks much like raw silk or crossdye linen. Perfect for the Southwest. India.
This is the last of this fabric; the weaver has stopped making it.
Handwash separately cold, no bleach, line dry, cool iron. Or test first then machine wash and dry if you like the results.
100% Cotton, 44" wide. This is for a remnant 1.25 yards. Order "1" for the piece.
