Spring Branches Papaya Vintage Kimono Silk Crepe By the Yard from Japan #613

Soft pink-papaya tones and thin branches with tiny white (true white, not ivory) blossoms, and every 29" what may be a larger branch or a rock formation. It's a print, on supple, flowy, drapey silk crepe. Lightweight and flowy, smooth for crepe; the twisted silk strands are subtle, not grainy or intensely textured. It may be a Tango Chirimen, known for fine texture and made from some of the best silk fibers. The back is mostly white; the print barely comes through. 14" wide and sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one piece from the excellent condition vintage bolt. 29" repeat. 100% Silk. Japan.
