Animals in Bliss, Yellow Large-Scale Print/Handpaint from India, Chanderi Silk Piece 43" x 3-7/8 Yard, #TK-42

Large pink, blue, green and brown animals and birds cavort through this charming folk art piece from India. It's partly a Kalamkari block print, partly painted by hand.  So when an animal appears again 35" away, it's probably a different hand painted color.  We are told this is a chanderi silk. We are not 100% sure;  it's not lustrous or glistening like most of the chanderi we've seen; it's thin and light, not totally opaque, ot shiny, holds a crease, is flowy but also has some crispness. It almost seems more like a light cotton/silk blend but we're not sure. The print reads through the length; if the animals looked straight up or straight down, they'd see a selvedge. 43" wide and 3-7/8 yard long piece. (Order 1 for the piece.
