Cobalt Ikat Print Vintage Kimono Wool By the Yard #4364
Rich cobalt is a little brighter than what we call navy. The cobalt color is very consistent, and the ikat symbols look so authentic you may be fooled. But it's actually a print, perfectly produced. The images seem to align with the wool fibers exactly, which is probably why it looks so genuine and alive. Gold, green, brown and off-white symbols, geometrically positioned throughout the kimono wool. It's a thin wool, classic cool weather kimono fabric, slightly crisp with some body. This is a vintage, never used bolt. We haven't examined the entire bolt but it appears in excellent condition. 14.5" wide with a pretty strand of silver in the selvedges, 100% wool sold by the full yard. We'll cut yours in one continuous piece. Japan.
