Cherry Red Vintage Shibori Kimono Silk from Japan, 15" x 77" Piece #AR422

Kimono silk with an overall jacquard which has been tie-dyed, as the base for the bright white shibori flowers and pond ripples. Rich true cherry red with lighter reds in the tie-dye. This vintage silk was formerly part of a kimono, probably from the 1970's, and is in beautiful condition, soft, flowy, drapey, supple, smooth, a bit textured from the shibori, almost the same on both sides. We only have this one piece in this size.  100% Silk, Japan.
