Cherry Blossom Festival 'Shibori' Kimono Silk Pieces 6" x 83" #4153
Two greens, plus glowing mustard, persimmon and purple, with white and gray. The hand-made look of the design makes the shibori seem real but it's actually traditionally dyed and not hand-tied true shibori. Large blossoms are strewn among the small green and white squares. White jacquard base silk creates a bit of sheen and light-play. The back is mostly white; the colors barely come through. Soft, supple and drapey, vintage silk from a former kimono. Pristine condition. Japan.
