Both Sides Leaves Vintage Kimono Silk Satin from Japan by the Yard # 528

Incredibly soft with a moderate satin shine, two sided woven leaves silk in burgundy and navy. Higher end kimono silk probably was originally designed to become a kimono raincoat in Japan. This vintage silk is light and thin, with slight body and not much drape. So soft. The navy side is probably the 'right' side but either one can be; the navy is a bit more sleek and satiny.  14" wide, sold and cut by the full yard; yours will be in one continuous piece from the never-used, excellent condition vintage bolt. 100% Silk.
