Teal Leaf Kimono Cotton? By the Yard #277

Fabulous off-white semi-sheer cotton or possibly nettle, hemp or other bast fiber, with a print designed for summer kimono. There is a windowpane grid in the weave that is slightly raised. Teal and black leaves with delicate traditional Japanese motifs inside and flaming black outlines. Crispy with lots of bounce and body, featherweight, 13.5" wide, this is a one of a kind fabric and we do not know how washing will affect it. The previous owner in Japan thinks all cotton, but we think it may also have hemp, flax or some other plant fiber as well. Definitely all natural. It's very finely woven, seems  high end, quite new and is in perfect condition.  Japan.
