Blue-Gray-Purplish Chunky Yarn Dyed Wool/Silk Vintage Kimono Fabric from Japan By the Yard, # 784
Many blues, purples, whites and grays creating an overall muted blue-gray, faded denim color. It's all done in the weave and both sides are just the same. This wool is a bit thicker than many kimono wools - mid-weight in our opinion. Its surface is quite woolly - coarse not soft. It has body and no drape. The weave is beautiful - blended colors, textures and complexity. The tag reads 50% Silk, 50% Wool, and the fringe is very soft blue-gray silk. To us it feels more like pure wool. 14.5" wide and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the excellent condition, never used vintage bolt. Wool/Silk. Japan.
