Blue Gray Mist Vintage Kimono Silk Crepe/Satin from Japan by the Yard, #762

The base silk has a jacquard of random, thin crosswise lines and dots. The background is blended tones of charcoal, blue-grays, plums and pinkish-taupe. Those misty blends look like they were probably hand dyed using bokashi technique.  The flower sprays are printed in grays, near-white, and gray-blue, and they are only on the front. That side has a crepe texture, and the print's repeat is 13". The satin side, the back, is sleek and shiny, with the jacquard stripes but no flowers. That side is shown in the first photo, and the last 3 photos. You may like it more than the front;  the sheen is almost metallic and the blends look great in satin. This silk is thin and light, with a bit of drape and a bit of body. 14" wide and sold by the full yard. We'll cut yours in one piece from the excellent condition, never used vintage bolt. 100% Silk.
