Black silk satin with stripes undulating geometrically through the length. Sleek and semi-shiny, very soft. The stripes are done in the jacquard weave and are smooth, not dimensional. It's thin, lightweight, soft, supple, and smooth, with a bit of body and a bit of drape. True dark rich saturated black kimono Silk from Japan in excellent condition. It looks much like other silks we've had that have been lightly treated for water repellency for rainy weather in Japan. 100% Silk.
