This chirimen crepe silk is lightweight, thin, supple, flowy, soft and very drapey, with no shine. It has a dry hand and a pebbly, grainy crepe texture. The back is mostly gold; the print comes through just a bit.  This silk is in perfect condition from its former life as part of a kimono, decades ago.  100% Silk.  Japan.
