SALE Gray/Black/Blue Ikat Tsumugi Vintage Kimono Silk By the Yard #175
Black and white silk fibers combine to look gray and black. There are red and blue flowers, arrows and other elements woven in the design. Trees and other shapes are mostly straight lines. This silk ikat is slightly heavier than most of our kimono silks, but still thin and light. It has body, a bit of crispness, very few slubs and is more refined and detailed than rustic. Quite soft and fairly smooth but not as smooth as Oshima Tsumugi. No shine. A true ikat so both sides look just the same. Sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one piece from the vintage, perfect condition, unused bolt. 100% Silk, 14" wide. Japan.
