Perhaps the most drapey fabric ever, this sueded silk charmeuse is not typical satin; the front is sueded so that the drape remains but the intense sheen of charmeuse has been calmed. It's extremely lustrous, with glisten and gleam, but not as strong a shine as classic, un-sueded charmeuse. Very supple, flowy, mid-lightweight, luxurious, heavenly 100% silk. 19mm. The drape and the way this silk looks and feels on your skin is beyond description. The back is more plain with no shine (same color).

Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve lustre, texture and color. For our former Santa Fe Fabrics customers, YES this is the same beloved, sueded silk charmeuse that we carried. Let us know if you'd like a swatch.
