This dramatic, liquid drape silk sari is soft, mid-lightweight, flowy, supple, drapey, smooth, finely woven. It has a sheen similar to lightweight charmeuse. About 5 yards is the more simple, mainly magenta tones with more subdued design, and the last yard and wide borders down both selvedges are the more dramatic work with coppers, browns, darker purples and black. We're told it's vintage but it seems newer to us, it's in beautiful condition with no signs of wear. All 6 yards of this silk sari weighs almost 10 ounces. 100% Silk.
