'Shibori Diamond Black' Cotton Print, by Kim Eichler-Messmer, 44" Wide, By the Yard # 1444
This quilting cotton was designed by Textile, Quilting, Dyeing and Shibori Artist and Instructor Kim Eichler-Messmer. It is digitally printed on high quality quilting cotton from Pakistan, from collaged images of her hand dyed shibori. Kim says: "When I was first learning how to dye fabric in college, I was amazed by how many different patterns and textures I could make through the process of shibori - the Japanese art of folding, tying, wrapping, or otherwise manipulating fabric to resist dye. The love and fascination has never left me. No two fabrics are ever the same. This collection of fabrics is taken directly from my dye studio and some of my favorite fabrics that I have dyed." She calls this one Shibori Diamond Black. It's printed on smooth, tightly woven, mid-weight 100% Cotton, 44/45" wide. Classic quilting cotton weight and feel. All the dark areas aren't pure black; there are warm blacks and dark browns too.
Good for shirts, tops, other clothing, bags, other accessories, pillows, quilting, curtains and anything else you'd use quality quilting cotton for. Machine wash cold, delicate, tumble dry low. No bleach.
Sold by the full yard. See the note "Only __ Left" for how many yards are available. We'll cut yours in one continuous piece to your order, from the bolt.
