SALE, Vintage Sterling Silver Belt Buckle, Willie Yazzie Wild Eyes or Bear Claws, Navajo #MV-31

Polished, shiny Sterling Silver smaller sized rectangular buckle measures 2" x 1-5/16", weighs .7 ounce, 20 grams, fitting belts up to 1" wide. The previous owner wasn't sure if these are bear claws or wild eyes. There is Willie Yazzie's tiny gourd dipper hallmark stamped on the back.  Date unknown; he was born in Chinle, AZ in 1928, used the gourd hallmark starting sometime in the 1950's or 60's, and died in 1999. This buckle in quite good vintage condition with a bit of tarnishing on the upper left corner of the front, and on the back. Functions perfectly.
