Plain White Vintage Cotton from Japan, WHOLE BOLT 13" wide, Thin and Soft. #701

This bolt seems to be in excellent condition but we haven't unrolled or measured it. It's not as tightly woven as most Yukata so we assume it was designed for some other use. Some type of lining, baby or household item, perhaps?  Not sure.  It's thin and light, soft, with a matte finish and no shine, no starch, not completely opaque, obviously pure cotton, true white. Seems machine woven; it's quite stable and consistent.  The bolt is 13" wide, about 3" in diameter and weighs 12 ounces. Yours for $35 if you're game. We haven't examined it all but it looks in excellent condition; not stains, tears or age issues. It's about the same size as most of our 12.5 yard silk bolts from Japan. 

Photos show our black dupioni silk tablecloth underneath, so you can see the weave and opacity. This cotton has no gray at all; it's true white.
