DEEPER SALE Red Chile Abstract Stripe Woven Cotton from India By the Yard #CHL-31

Crosswise yarn-dyed textured abstract bright variegated stripes on 100% midweight cotton for apparel, quilts, home dec.  Technically an ikat, with the cotton threads pre-dyed before weaving, the warp is bright red and the weft is bright gold, green, turquoise and orange, so the effect is bold and organic. The stripes change color and shape a bit, and there are some slubs. Yarn-dyed, soft, fairly smooth 100% cotton is a bit lighter in weight than most quilting cottons. When washed, the weave tightens a bit and softens even more. For quilting, shirts, tops, dresses, tunics, shorts, pants, vests, bedding, pillows, napkins, runners, etc. The color combination is true Southwest!  Handwash separately cold, no bleach, line dry, cool iron.
