REMNANT Coral Hemp Leaf Shibori Crepe Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan 1-3/8 Yard PIECE #725

The Asanoha Hemp Leaf motif is created with a base jacquard on coral-peach-sorbet silk, and the shibori areas are white. This silk has liquid drape and is so, so supple and flowy. The hemp leaves are outlined in the jacquard which adds glisten which shows up quite well and the sheen changes in the light since it's all in the weave, not printed. It's true shibori with softly crinkles. Lightweight, thin, soft and flowy with a subtle crepe texture.  On the back, the jacquard barely shows but the shibori squares do. 14" wide, excellent condition and sold by the full yard; we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used vintage kimono silk bolt. To us, the exceptional color is more glowing and radiant than the photos and not quite pink or orange but a lovely, almost pastel, blend.  100% Silk. Japan.
