Bright oranges, golds, copper, greens, blue and white, plus a bit of metallic gold in some of the 'wave' symbols, in this dynamic, fun faux patchwork from Japan. The 'shibori' stripes are white and copper, and add so much life to the wild design. This 100% silk is high-end, drapey, supple, lightweight, flowy and soft. The back is almost white; the print barely comes through. The base jacquard is tiny polka dots, which add a bit of glisten. Vintage silk was once part of a kimono and is in excellent condition. Japan.
