Orange Crepe with Blossoms and Leaves Vintage Kimono Silk from Japan by the Yard, #365

Liquid drape orange with purply brown illustrations that look like slightly translucent watercolor. They seem to match perfectly so we don't think this bolt was hand-painted. The flower centers have fine metallic gold detail. The design shows through on the back but not full strength. It's very smooth crepe, not chirimen's ridgy or pebbly surface, but sleek and smooth like fine crepe de chine. Rich drape, light weight, flowy and very supple. Color is consistent with no lighter or darker areas at all. This is a never used, vintage bolt designed for a kimono, in excellent condition.  14" wide, 29" repeat. Sold by the full yard and we'll cut yours in one continuous piece from the bolt. 100% Silk.
