Lanterns Vintage Chirimen Crepe Bingata Kimono Silk by the Yard #1341

Colorful lanterns cavorting on the dark indigo/navy background of liquid drape chirimen crepe kimono silk. This silk is lightweight, supple, flowy, with a dry hand, a pebbly texture and no shine. On the back, the print shows through a bit but isn't as sharp or bright. This is a true hand-stenciled bingata - the lanterns are very similar but the colors are blended a bit differently in each. 14" wide 100% silk is in excellent condition and sold by the full yard. We'll cut yours from the vintage, never used bolt. Japan.
