Floating Shapes on Almost White Silk, Red, Ochre, Black, by the yard
Fantastic! The creamy, warm white base is punctuated by the most wonderful dots, ovals and rectangles created by double ikat. Some of the very fine red fibers show through the background cream base, so it's ever so slightly red-tinted. You can see that in the photo. The red ovals are outlined in ikat black. About 1-5/8" between shapes. Unused fine, thin silk from the bolt, from Japan, probably quite old. 14" wide, in excellent vintage condition. A tiny bit of crisp and not much drape. $14.55/yard, sold by the full yard. We'll cut yours from the bolt and currently have around 7 yards.
