Cinnabar "Taffeta" with Short Floating Stripes Vintage Japanese Silk, by the Yard
Crosswoven with bright orange and almost-black silk fibers, this vintage kimono silk has crispness and rustle (called scroop) like taffeta, and is slubby like shantung. Not drapey; it's tightly woven with body. And the color! Vermillion / cinnabar; a deep, intense bright iridescent orange, that flashes almost black in the light. Two 3"-long floating gold and light orange-white stripes appear every 11", first from the left, then from the right... etc.
14" wide, pristine condition vintage kimono silk from Japan, never used. Sold by the full yard. We'll cut yours in one piece from the bolt. If you're first, the fringe and border are yours for no charge.
