Blue-Gray 'Plaid' Handwoven Vintage Kimono Silk By the Yard # 366

Several blues and blue-grays, white, black, and wine, in this handwoven, extremely soft, old kimono silk from Japan. We love the crosswise thin white fibers stopping and starting through the bolt. This silk is vintage, homespun and in excellent condition. It's thin and light with no shine at all, much softer than it looks - will be heavenly to wear and has a hint of bounce and crisp body. It's very soft, with lots of of variance in thread thickness so the colors are intriguing and so beautiful together. It's very smooth, not slubby. 14" wide. Sold by the full yard, and we'll cut yours in one piece from the vintage, never used bolt. 100% Silk. Japan.
