Black/Red All Shibori Kimono Silk from Japan. Pieces 13.5" x 27" #4586

Geometrically arranged square-like shapes every few inches with flowers or other patterns inside each one. The red is true red, not towards blue or orange - deeper and more true red than the photos. The black also is rich true black, and the overall look is dynamic. There is quite a bit of shibori texture; it's not steamed or worn flat at all. This shibori silk is in mint condition and has been carefully stored. Supple, flowy, drapey, lightweight pure silk. These pieces were formerly part of a kimono and are in excellent condition. 100% silk from Japan.
