Rustic Millefiiori Vintage Black/Orange 7/16" Glass Buttons, Japan # GL-302

Very intricate millefiori flower on each. Deep back base button with bright orange, red, and bright yellow.  7/16" diameter - and about the same in thickness including the little brass loop on the back. They are so unique  - they feel folk-art-like. It's hard to put them down; they are so wonderful.  From Japan, probably 1950's. $1.65 each limited supply. Some of the shanks are slightly longer than others.
